IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING DSL HIGH-SPEED INTERNET ACCESS:
If you have DSL high-speed internet access installed on the same phone line as your alarm, you need to have a DSL filter to ensure the signals get through to the central station. You can purchase a filter for under $40.00 from Land & Sea that gets installed between the alarm and the telephone line. This takes the place of Telco filters on all of your phones at one time.

CELL PHONE NUMBER PORTABILITY:
Some people have been discontinuing their home telephone service and using just their cell phone for all calls. Your alarm system MUST have a conventional working telephone line to connect to the central station unless you have backup RADIO monitoring. Call for details

CRITICAL ISSUE REGARDING MONITORED ALARM CUSTOMERS GETTING TELEPHONE SERVICE THROUGH THE CABLE COMPANY
If you are a monitored alarm customer and are receiving your telephone service through your cable company, this will in all likelihood, prevent your alarm monitoring from reaching the central station. In addition, your cable telephone service MAY NOT FUNCTION in a power failure. If this message pertains to you, please call us to discuss this matter.
THOSE CONSIDERING CHANGING THEIR TELEPHONE SERVICE TO AN INTERNET BASED SYSTEM MUST BE AWARE THAT IN MANY CASES YOU WILL NO LONGER HAVE ACCESS TO 911 EMERGENCY SERVICES
PLEASE VERIFY THIS WITH YOUR TELEPHONE SERVICE PROVIDER.
We do offer periodic test signals from your system to our central station. This testing will let you know if your communicator is functioning properly at the time of the test.
REMEMBER THAT THE ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF VOICE OVER INTERNET PROTOCOL DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT YOUR SIGNALS WILL ALWAYS GET THROUGH
